March 8th, 2024SummaryThe Quality Control Specialist is responsible for assist the Quality department in the oversight of all quality documentation including that required by the company's Food Safety and Quality System (FSQS) and the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) systemKey ActivitiesDaily verification and maintenance of production recordsDaily maintenance of Product Release RecordsVerification and maintenance of Facility Operational InspectionsEnters completed maintenance Work Orders into the appropriate logsManage the Positive Release System including the creation of Certificate of Analyses (CoAs) and release of finished product.Verifies files, and maintains calibration and laboratory recordsTransfers required documents and data to the BOX system. Is the main interface with the BOX system and is fluent with its use.Creates Certificates of Conformance (CoC) documents when required by customers.Assists with the New Product Development (NPD) process and completes associated documentsMaintains the Supplier Approval Register and all related supplier documentation and forms.Assists with the training program by generating and uploading the training rosters, filing and recording training tests, and maintaining the training registerAssists with the Sanitation programPrepares needed blank production forms for the Production personnelParticipates in Internal and External audits in the role of documentarianAssists QA department by managing the Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) programPreferred Skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software. Must be able to quickly learn other informational systems as needed.Educations & ExperienceMust be a high school graduate.
