Position:
Regional Wound Care Registered Nurse Eden Senior Care is hiring for a Wound Certified RN for our Regional Wound Care Registered Nurse role.
This position requires travel to our facilities in the North Central Region (Fox Valley- Wassau) and Southern Region ( Madison- Milwaukee).
This is not a treatment Nurse position, but rather a wound care assessment and case manager role, which will require re-application of treatments removed to complete assessments during wound round days.

Responsibilities:
Completion of wound rounds- Completing comprehensive wound assessments and documenting using the clinical E.

Collaborating, coordinating, and obtaining wound care treatment orders with consulting wound care physicians and clinics (May require assistance with telehealth rounds) Assisting with ordering and managing treatment supplies Updating plans of care Providing status updates to providers, responsible parties, dieticians, and Facility nursing management teams Consultation regarding the choice of incontinence products, central supply stock of treatments, and topicals Educating facility nursing staff- application of treatments Educating facility staff- prevention, turning, and repositioning Assisting with completion of Clinical System Audits- Skin and Wound Care (Recording observations of interventions in place at the bedside, condition of cushions, mattresses, etc.
)
Qualifications:
Wound Certified Registered Nurse (RN) Ability to travel our facilities in the North Central Region (Fox Valley- Wassau) and Southern Region ( Madison- Milwaukee) Ability to care for high-acuity patients Ability to facilitate teamwork Valid CPR certification Ability to effectively prioritize in a fast pace environment
